FRep - Finger Replayer 5.4

FRep is an Android app that allows users to record and replay touchscreen and keystroke operations. With FRep, you can easily record and play back operations on any app by using a floating console. The console shows or hides depending on the playable records for the current app.

The unlock key for FRep provides unlimited records and functionality for Tasker and Locale plugins.

Usage Example:

• Recording analog push, swipe, and flick operations for automatic processes, scrolling, and gestures
• Playing continuous virtual space key presses with intervals for browsing
• Preloading delayed or continuous pushes to account for processing delays
• Avoiding blind areas or blurring caused by finger operation
• Combining with automation apps through FRep replay shortcuts or Tasker plugins
• Demonstrating your app on an actual device

Initial Setup:

FRep requires initial setup. If your Android device is rooted, you can skip this section by permitting su. To set up FRep initially or after an Android reboot, you need a USB connection to a Windows/Mac/Linux/Android device. Please retrieve and run the setup tool from the following URL: FRep Setup Tool.

Show/Hide Console:

After starting the service, FRep will stay in the notification area. By tapping it, the console shows or hides. Once you record by pressing the recording circle button, FRep automatically shows the console on the recorded app. The recorded operation can then be replayed by pressing the play triangle button.

Recording Mode:

Choose the desired recording mode in the FRep front app:

• Simple: Record until the power button is pressed
• Till Gap: Record until a designated number of seconds without input
• Progress: Record continuously and create an editable sequence separated by input gap

Repeat/Edit Playing:

In the Manage Traces section, you can set the repeat number to play the record multiple times. You can also create or edit a playing sequence consisting of multiple records and controls. Additionally, each stroke in traces can be moved, set to wait, or clipped as needed.

Power Button:

FRep does not record power button presses, which will immediately finish any recording or playing.

Restrict by Current App:

In record and replay mode, occasional calls or app changes may cause issues. To avoid problems, FRep is restricted on Phone, Google Play, and FRep itself. You can configure restrictions for other apps as well.

Interruption of Playing:

To abort replaying, you can easily interrupt it by overlapping the operation.

Virtual Keyboard:

Double-tap the upper button on the console to open another page with a key operation editor.

Customization:

You can customize various settings such as notification type/icon, console size/transparency, drag/flick sensitivity, default settings, and more.

Notice and Tips:

• This app uses the Accessibility Service by ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE permission to detect the current app for responsive switching of the floating console.
• The full network access permission is only used for communication with the setup process on the localhost.
• Do not record personal information or passwords.
• The replay result may vary depending on CPU load or other factors. To ensure good reproducibility, use longer delays for processing wait, stop touch at the end point for dragging/flicking, and try editing the sequence with image matching (see the tutorial section on the support site).
• The records are not compatible with other devices.
